I can’t begin to express my gratitude to the entire staff taking care of me during my recent stay at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. The Doctors, nurses & support staff were all incredible. After having an awful experience with another hospital in Arlington Heights I went to Northwestern in Lake Forest. I was treated with dignity, respect and care. The nurses really care. From giving me a quiet pack to help ensure sleep to having the nursing manager stop by to ensure my care is great they have been stellar. They have been great about explaining everything and what my care plan is.

The ones that I have ran into are very professional and knowledgeable. The hospital is clean and recently renovated. The COVID-19 preventative measures are up to date. If one comes to the facility without a masks, there are plenty fresh masks available to wear. All visitors, patients and staff are required to wear masks. The seating in the waiting rooms are placed so their is distance between each patient. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the hospital and outpatienth areas. Additionally, I have never experienced a long wait in the emergency room or in the a doctors waiting room.

A close family member has been admitted here a few times over the last few years and the team here has been top notch. They worked very hard to save my family member and supported him and our entire family with heartfelt kindness.
